Sea World Adventure Park!

I had the chance to check out Sea World with my parents on November 19th. It was alot of fun, but it would of been better if my wife could have been with us. It was VERY cold at the park, but none the less alot of fun. We went to 2 shamu shows including his Christmas special. We got to see, turtles, sharks, penguins, and all kinds of fish and birds. Dad and I even got to feed the sharks! Elizabeth and I also got to "kidnap" mom for a few days while dad was at his conference. We really had a fun visit. Elizabeth and I got to take mom and dad to my new job for dinner. That was a dining "experience" they and we will never forget. Mom and dad even got to check out the kitchen during a very busy night. We sure love to see them and everyone when they come......HINT HINT!! We'll update again soon!!

Feels Like Home

Well, I have to say that Elizabeth has done an amazing job on putting the new apartment together. She recently found a couple of great coffee and dining room tables for the place. We have been so anxious for it to feel like home. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love my wife. She has been so supportive with the new job, and now she has a NEW job. She will be the restaraunt manager for the Gallery One Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. It is owned by Hilton which I know she is happy about. She will start November 3. We look forward to SEEING you all soon here in Florida. 10 minutes to the beach!!!

We're Here!

Well, we have arrived in Deerfield Beach! The move went well, and we are slowly getting settled into the new apartment. We went down to the beach today for a little bit, and that was alot of fun. We LOVE that we are so close. I am getting ready to start my job tomorrow, so I am very excited. Elizabeth had a great interview last week with Denny's here in South Florida. They are running her background check and she should hopefully know something later this week. I know she is enjoying the much needed and deserved break though. I will try to post again soon and let everyone know how the job is going. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers during the move and we look forward to SEEING all of you soon!!

We're Heading South!! (Further, that is!)

I have been in negotiations for the last several weeks with a restaraunt in Boca Raton, Florida. As of Monday, we have accepted their offer and are moving south. It is owned by a british celebrity chef named Angela Hartnett. The name of the place is "Cielo by Angela Hartnett." She works for and was trained by Chef Gordon Ramsay. (Hells Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares etc...) We are very excited for this move and the opportunity for me professionally. I have put in a lot of hard work over the last several years to get to this moment. I am so glad that Elizabeth is just excited and supportive of me in this. I am INCREDIBLY nervous, but I know that all I can do is my best, and keep moving forward. Elizabeth has been looking into the possibility of transferring with the Hilton, but also has a couple of other prospects as well. She has a great resume with impeccable references, so we know that she won't have any problems. We hope to see all of you here in Florida soon, as we will now be just minutes away from the beach!!
